The mission of the Celestial Church Of Christ UK diocese is to use the scripture for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness so that the servants of God may be thoroughly equipped for very good work by providing a means whereby its students would have a positive learning experience, be biblically grounded, service-oriented, academically competent, spiritually mature and be God-focused with a high-quality education so as to advance the leadership and qualities of Christians in the vineyard of God and also equip Christians with knowledge and skills required for the effective discharge of their duties both within the vineyard of God and in the world in which we live.

Objective
To build on the intellectual capacity of students, by providing them with a strong foundation in the history and theology of the Christian Church, which will enable them to become quality members and leaders in CCC and other Christian denominations worldwide.
To facilitate the administration of CCC parishes worldwide, by equipping students with practical skills in counseling, adult education, and youth and women’s development, which are essential for effective Christian ministry.
To help professionals and career individuals acquire values and skills that are relevant to their chosen fields, by encouraging them to develop critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills through the study of theology and human development. These skills will not only benefit them in their professions but also in their broader roles as members of CCC and other Christian communities.

The spread of courses and allocation of credits over the areas has been designed to give a comprehensive understanding of the biblical witness along with the various issues pertaining to the understanding and interpretation of the biblical texts.
The design of the courses aims at enabling the students:
(i) to develop the skills for critical as well as perspectival reading and interpretation of the biblical texts, particularly from the perspective of the various contexts such as that of the poor, women, and marginalized groups and also that of ecological degradation, and the plurality of religions.
(ii) to develop critical awareness towards traditional as well as oppressive and discriminatory readings and interpretations of the biblical
texts.
(iii) to identify and expound in particular the prophetic dimension of the biblical witness and theology.
(iv) to be able to integrate the concerns of the people as reflected in the different theological disciplines in reading and interpreting biblical texts.
(v) to develop proficiency in independent research in the particular biblical field of specialization.
